We're happy to welcome local farm, The Dania Beach PATCH to the nabumarket.com family! The Dania Beach PATCH is an innovative project funded by the city of Dania Beach, Florida and Broward County. It’s an excellent example of the kind of magic that can happen when local communities are proactive and grow their own food! To improve the quality of life in the urban residential areas of Dania Beach the Dania Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (DBCRA) developed the Dania Beach People's Access to Community Horticulture (PATCH). This project helps strengthen communities around Dania Beach by providing access to fresh local organic food. Not only that, people from around Dania Beach now have a new place to connect with each other and bond through outdoor physical activities such as tending to their sustainable community garden. The Dania Beach PATCH and nabumarket.com both share the same vision of the future for local neighborhoods and communities. We want to help farms like the PATCH grow their production capacity and business so they continue to thrive and support their local community for decades to come. Our goal is to continue to build a dense local network of farms, like the PATCH, around South Florida so we can create a much more resilient and robust food system for our local communities. You can now order fresh fruits and veggies from the Dania Beach PATCH on our marketplace! Visit nabumarket.com today to get 20% off your first online pickup order.
